So does that mean he would vote for a Satanist? They believe in a higher power too...that wants to destroy everything in creation. I guess it depends on what kind of Satanist. It should help if the Satanist also upholds beliefs in some norse and german gods like Odin or Wotan, or Poseidon for that matter

My suspicion is that he wouldn't vote for any non-monotheist. The question "Do you believe in God?" only makes sense from a monotheistic perspective. Which means that Hindus, Buddhists, and Pagans are out of the running.
