A Film from Slovenia gives an insight into the enigma of Laibach. Laibach describe their work in their own words; giving a sense of their music, their drama and their irony as well as a glimpse of the Eastern European and Slovenian influences that created the band. Directed by Daniel Landin and Peter Vezjak, A Film From Slovenia was written by Chris Bohn and was originally made for Slovenian TV and Mute Film in 1993. The band offer a new sound to several classics from The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. After reports of Israeli military exercises as rehearsals for an attack on Iran, and about US administration and Congress sanctioning covert operations against Iran, the Iranian Foreign Minister dismisses the idea saying that Israel is in too much internal turmoil to "resort to such craziness." He adds that the US is in no position to "take another risk in the region." Admiral Mike Mullen, Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff says "opening up a third front right now would be extremely stressful on us."

Featuring new material included in the comic's current "Rules of Enragement" tour and CD of the same name Lewis Black: Black on Broadway will feature Black's dead-on insights into such disparate issues as homeland security tax-cut benefits international travel Martha Stewart cold weather health myths in America "who's fucking who" and of course WMDs. Black's performance in the HBO special "Black on Broadway" is exactly like his "Back in Black" spots on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. If you love his sputtering, furious rants on the fake news, there's no reason you won't enjoy an hour's worth on DVD, during which Black spits out his grievances against typical stand-up comedy fodder--corporate scandals, air travel, etc.--in his usual, direct style. (Good line: "If you're in coach, kill yourself.") The only caveat: you'll get nothing extra here. The disc contains the show, brief shots of his entering/exiting the theater, and that's it. No interviews, no commentary track, not even a set of Spanish subtitles. But since Black's routine is stripped-down anger, perhaps it's fitting for the DVD to be stripped-down Black.

Iran Air Flight 655 (IR655), a commercial flight, that flew from Bandar Abbas, Iran to Dubai, UAE, was shot down on Sunday July 3, 1988, towards the end of the Iran Iraq War, by the U.S. Navy guided missile cruiser USS Vincennes somewhere between Bandar Abbas and Dubai, killing all 290 passengers and crew aboard, including 38 non-Iranians, 66 children and one pregnant woman. The USS Vincennes was inside Iranian territorial waters at the time.

Iran Air Flight 655 continuously squawked Mode III (Civilian Airliner) IFF in duration of flight however the crew on the new Aegis cruiser USS Vincennes identified flight 655 as squawking Mode II (Iranian F-14 Tomcat) IFF momentarily, personnel proceeded to label the target from "Unknown Assumed Enemy" to "F-14".

Investigations found that the crew bent the information into a scenario they have trained for, a single plane coming for an attack run, the captain also was known for his aggressive standoff.

The US government never expressed responsibility or liability for what happened. The men of the USS Vincennes were all awarded combat-action ribbons.
